Overview
The redesigned Dornsife website, which is being built on WordPress CMS, is launching in 2023. In November 2022, early access to WordPress is being granted to faculty and staff who have been assigned the role of web ambassador, editor, or administrator for their Dornsife department, center, or institute.
This guide compiles WordPress resources you can refer to as you begin creating web content for your Dornsife minisite—aka any website that resides within the main Dornsife website and serves a single department, institute, or center.
We will keep adding to this guide as more resources are created.

Getting access to WordPress
You'll need a WordPress account before you can log in to the minisite for your department, center, or institute. To request an account, you must be a designated web ambassador or content editor for your Dornsife unit. Simply email webproject@dornsife.usc.edu.
Requesting WordPress access for someone else
If you are a designated web ambassador or content editor for your Dornsife unit, you can request that someone be granted access to your Dornsife unit minisite:
Logging in to WordPress
Once you have been granted access, you can log into WordPress:
- Go to https://dornsife.usc.edu/wp-login.php.
- Click Sign on with USC Shibboleth.
- When prompted, enter your USC NetID and passphrase, and complete Duo authentication.
- The Dornsife website loads. Click My Sites in the top left. Then, click Dashboard underneath your department or unit's site name.
