Overview
In most cases, Dornsife faculty and staff who need Adobe Creative Cloud applications should purchase an individual user license. This license allows one person to install and use Adobe applications on one or multiple computers.
In specific circumstances, Dornsife faculty and staff may prefer to purchase a shared workstation license. This license is assigned to a computer instead of a person: multiple people can use the license, but only on the computer to which the license was assigned. For instance, this license may be useful for research labs where a computer has been reserved for specific functions and is used by multiple students to perform those functions.

Obtaining an Adobe shared workstation license
The steps for this process are:
- A Dornsife faculty or staff member requests an Adobe shared workstation license for a Dornsife-managed computer.
- DTS processes the order and deploys Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe CC) to the requested computer.
- Anyone authorized to use the computer can now access Adobe CC and install Adobe applications on the computer.
Installing Adobe applications on a shared workstation
Once Adobe CC has been deployed to the computer, anyone authorized to use the computer can follow the steps below. Each individual will need to install the Adobe applications they need to their own account on the computer:
