Overview
Typically, Outlook calendars can only be viewed by people with a USC Outlook account, and only by busy/free status. However, if you need to make a calendar visible to students, or to non-USC individuals, you can publish an Outlook calendar. Once published, the calendar can be viewed by anyone with the link.

A note about the calendar name
Be aware that published calendars display the name of the calendar creator, not the name of the calendar itself. If you want the name to be more generic (for instance, to display your department's title rather than your name), one workaround is to create and publish the calendar under a shared org account rather than your own account.
