USC Dornsife is in the process of transitioning to Signals ChemDraw, which lets you download ChemDraw to your computer or use it in the browser. Once this transition has been completed, the guide below will be updated with instructions for the new system. Until then, you can continue to use the guide below to download the latest version of ChemDraw for your computer and obtain an activation code.
Overview
As a USC Dornsife faculty or staff member, or student, you have access to ChemDraw, a tool for visualizing chemical structures. This includes access to ChemDraw Collections, which is the rebranded version of ChemOffice+.
Follow the guide below to register for, download, and install ChemDraw.
A note about Signals Notebook Individual Edition (ChemDraw online)
If you use Signals Notebook Individual Edition (https://chemdraweln.signalsresearch.revvitycloud.com/) to access ChemDraw through the browser, be aware that the vendor will discontinue this product on March 1, 2025.
For more information, see this announcement:
You will need to transfer all Signals Notebook data before March 1, 2025, when you permanently lose access to your account. Additionally, per the vendor, "[a]ll data in Signals Notebook Individual Edition will be destroyed after the product reaches End of Life, and will not be recoverable." This only affects Signals Notebook, not ChemDraw for desktop.
