Overview
By default, Dornsife affiliate sponsors at USC Dornsife receive an email notification 14 days before an affiliate's (iVIP's) end date at USC. The end date is the last day that the affiliate can access USC electronic services.
This email notification was implemented at the request of current affiliate sponsors and you can follow the guide below to turn off this notification.
Enabling and disabling email notifications
To turn the email notification feature off, or back on again:
Quick guide
- Make sure you are securely connected to the USC network:
- On-campus: Use Ethernet or USC Secure Wireless.
- Off-campus: Connect to VPN.
- Go to https://mydornsife.usc.edu. If prompted, use your USC NetID and passphrase to sign in, and complete Duo authentication.
- Click the Administrative tab.
- Click IVIP Request.
- Click Manage Email.
- Select the Change Email Notification checkbox.
- Click Change Email Notification Status.
- Click Select one. Make a selection from the dropdown, and click Save:

Yes: You will receive an email reminder 14 days before an affiliate's end date.

No: You will not receive any emails.
- If you selected No, you will be asked to confirm. Click Yes to confirm.
- Click OK. myDornsife updates with your selection.
